Greater Faith Church

The Place For Miracles

August 7, 2001 was a day that would change our family's lives forever. We didn't realize back then the full impact of what God was up to but we can honestly say it has been the greatest season of our lives.  It's hard to believe that nearly ten years have past.
The last decade has been a continuous learning experience for all of us, consisting of literal countless hours of prayer, thousands of souls being saved, and innumerable miracles stretching from blind eyes, deaf ears, cancers and paralysis being healed to the miracles of employment for the unemployed.
Through it all God has proven to us that He will do whatever we can believe.  We have come to a place where we truly understand that our problems and obstacles are His opportunities.  He's BIG!  That's why we are stepping into the GREATEST level of faith which we have ever dared to trod before.  God has invested the last ten years preparing the foundation for the vision that, with man only, is impossible.  "One church, fifty congregations."  It brings a barrage of emotions to say it aloud but for anyone that has ever wanted to do anything for God it affords unlimited opportunity.
I am looking forward to the next ten years with undying passion and unremitting faith.  Greater Faith is beginning a new chapter, and yet again, is about to move into uncharted waters.  Yesterday, I shared my heart that has been brimming over with God's passion to reach our city.  I was deeply moved as the entire congregation submitted themselves to the seed that God planted within the lush soil of a mature church.  God challenged us with a fresh call to move forward with greater faith for a greater level.  Both congregations (Louisville Central and the mother congregation) responded with passion and sincerity, effectively positioning themselves to "Answer the Call".
The service included anointed singing by the choir and praise team, a special presentation about the future by our Special Service Team, and a message by the pastor that has burned in my spirit since the age of 17.  It's why I do what I do.  This past Sunday was one of the most important Sundays of the last ten years and God met us just as we expected Him to.  We reminisced about a small building on Spring Street in New Albany where it all began 47 years ago.  We rejoiced as hundreds of pictures of baptisms flashed across the screen for the last 20 minutes of the sermon.  Thousands of people have experienced a new birth just in the last 3 years.
The worship service was followed by a meal prepared with all the fixings by our hospitality staff, headed by Lisa Tetrick.  This gave us a great opportunity to connect with our extended family and friends, catch up on what God is doing in people's lives and talk about the future.  We hope that you will join us for the next phase of the campaign at the Vision 1 Service on July 31.  The countdown has begun...76 days to lift off!  You have an incoming CALL...will YOU "Answer the Call?"

Sincerely,
