New Direction Youth Ministry is targeted to young people, ages 12-21. Activities include anything from goofy golf to bowling and go karts to scavenger hunts. We have taken many exciting trips to places such as Ft. Wayne, IN, Indianapolis, IN, Kings Island, OH, and New York City just to name a few.
Every Friday night we come together for Intersection with fellowship, food, games, and to discuss important topics that effect the youth of today. Intersection is a time of devotion where we discuss issues in the Bible that directly relate to our generation. How important is God in your life? You can answer that question at Intersection.
The young people of New Direction come from different backgrounds. We aren't concerned about the clothes you wear, the money you have, the car you drive, the place you work, or the color of your skin. We are simply interested in young people that are searching for a way to connect Jesus to their life and have a blast doing it.
We feel that it is our responsibility to reveal the talents that the youth of the millennium generation possess and provide them a venue to use those talents. Our young people are involved in many activities and ministries in the church. Among them are musicians who are a part of the New Direction youth band, singers in the church choir & praise team, as well as teachers of various Sunday school and life development classes.
New Direction would like to extend an invitation to you. Come experience God, fellowship, and fun with a crazy group of young people.
